  • Car Boot Sale 4th November - Proceeds to Rural Fire Service

Please come along to our Car Boot sale in November. Our Club dedicates the profit from the day to our Local RFS brigade for much needed equipment.

  • Free Trade Ball an amazing success

Our Free Trade Ball has raised approximately $17000. Proceeds will help fund the cost of materials used by the Tradies on Free Trade Day.

  • Our member awarded OAM

Jack Anastas, our longest serving Lion, was awarded a Medal in the General Division (OAM) in the Queen's Birthday Honours List. He was recognised for his service to the welfare of veterans and to the community. Congratulations Jack.

We are restricting the number of vendors at the next Car Boot Sale in May. This is due to the area taken up by the construction of the skatepark at the south eastern corner of the reserve.
We will be restricting each vendor to one site each. We believe that we can fit in 70 vendors for the May Car Boot Sale. All vendors will be directed to a site by the Rural Fire Brigade.
It is possible that more space will be available in June. We anticipate more space again afterscheduled construction finishes in late June.

  • Sausage Sizzle Giveaway ANZAC Day

Our club made and gave away 400 sausage sizzles at the Dawn Service on ANZAC Day. A large crowd attended and we were very happy to support the community on this special day. We also laid a wreath in honour of all of those who have served in war.

  • Car Boot Sale 1st April ...... ON

YES YES! The Car Boot Sale will be on April 1st . This is not an April Fool's Day joke. Yes, we realise it is Easter Sunday but there are keen vendors and definitely keen buyers ready to hunt bargains after their Easter Egg Hunt.
